In the same way you would log on to your favorite Web site, you can securely connect to Gatherspace and manage requirements, use cases, and share requirements with your project team. There is no software to download, no upgrades, everything is securely managed on our platform.

A. Because Gatherspace is an on-demand service, any time we release a new version of the application or add a new feature, you will have access to it immediately the next time you log in, free of charge.
Q. Is it possible to purchase an onsite solution?

Q. What happens to my data if I decide not to purchase after 30 days?
A. If at any time during your 30-day, risk-free trial, you decide that you are not ready to purchase an account, you may export all of your data into Excel using our reports center. We will purge the data out of our system 90 days after your trial expires.
Q. How do I purchase GatherSpace?
A. You may sign up for our 30-day free trial and purchase online from within your trial account by clicking "Upgrade" on the top right corner.
Q. How do I get access with Gatherspace?
A. Because Gatherspace is an on-demand hosted service delivered over the Internet, there is no hardware or software to buy, install, or maintain. Just point your browser, Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 5.5 or higher) or Firefox to the login page and enter your username and password.
Q. Is any training required to learn to use Gatherspace?
A. Gatherspace requirements management is designed to be easy to learn and can be used immediately. Our customers find that using Gatherspace is similar to using other Web sites - extremely intuitive and user friendly. If you know how to use the Web, you will know how to use Gatherspace.
Q. How quickly can my company be up and running?
A. With Gatherspace requirements management, you can be up and running immediately. It typically takes less than 24 hours to set up and customize your Gatherspace tool. There is absolutely no IT involvement required.
Q. What is the job of the System Administrator?
A. The administrator is responsible for setting up your Gatherspace online application, which means adding users, establishing their roles, and setting up projects. This task can frequently be completed in less than an hour, depending on how well established and defined your business processes are.
Q. Can we provision and assign projects to various users?
A. Absolutely. We know how critical it is to have separate projects and assign users to various projects.
Q. How do I work with Gatherspace when I am not connected to the Internet?
A. With Gatherspace, you and your project team can access your requirements data when you're on the road. One way is to export your data into csv files and import them into excel so you can manipulate and view your data. You can also cut and paste any of our reports into MS Word documents for read-only purposes. There is presently no automated way to import data back in to the system although for paying customers we will bulk import requirements into your database.
Q. How can I be sure my data is secure?
A. Our production environment is hosted by getNetworks in a secure, world-class colocation facility. All data is regularly archived and encrypted (448-bit) to a secure offsite location. Q. How can I be assured my data will be kept private?
Q. Does Gatherspace ever view or use my data?
A. No. Gatherspace will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data except as provided in the Gatherspace Master Subscription Agreement, or as may be required by law. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, and support issue. Of course, customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and password.
